I realise that things aren’t always what you expect.

The future, as most well know, eludes our attempts to control and predict. All the preparation and forethought in the world could still leave you at a loss when the future becomes present – and you wonder how you had let yourself come to this yet again. Perhaps these are the situations that forces us to grow, to go beyond the knowledge that we possessed (and had used to attempt to safeguard ourselves) – to improvise and learn.

But what about the past? What do you do when your past catches up with you and it is not what you thought? Then everything crumbles – past, present, and future. And you realise that everything you have learnt and everything you thought you knew was just writing in the sand.
